Nival Explorer is an eco-designed, technical and versatile pair of pants made from recycled plastic bottles.
Designed for climbing and hiking, its modern, close-fitting cut makes it ideal for everyday wear.
It's incredibly stretchy, comfortable and water and odor resistant.
This second version of our legendary pants offers brand-new features such as an optimized diamond crotch yoke, enhanced by two brass breathing eyelets.
Visible seams are now nylon for added durability, and knee parts are now changeable and repairable.
Nival Explorer is available in alpine black and snow grey, a sober and elegant model.
91% of plastic waste is not recycled. Of the 8.3 billion metric tons produced, 6.3 billion have been transformed into plastic waste. Only 9% of this waste is recycled, according to National Geographic.
Nival chooses to give a second life to plastic waste by using recycled polyester yarn. More than just a garment, it takes an average of 30 plastic bottles to produce a pair of Nival Explorer pants!
Our mission is to help you own less and keep your technical pants longer.
A garment that lasts means a ton of memories when you wear it!
Why recycled polyester?
Créer une marque outdoor est un défi d’envergure à l’heure actuelle. Les exigences techniques doivent répondre à l’appel de la transition écologique que nous prenons très au sérieux.
Choosing recycled polyester fabric (rPET) gives a second life to plastic bottles and a responsible approach to our pants.
Our use of recycled polyester has the direct effect of reducing the consumption of new polyester.
Recycling plastic waste into raw materials to make Nival Explorer was a profound change in our way of thinking. After more than 8 months on the project, we're more sensitive than ever.
